Warranties
The shingles manufacturer offers product warranties against manufacturing defects ranging from 15 to 50 years. The warranties cover defects such as thermal splitting, some cases of granule loss, cupping and curling. Workmanship warranty is also provided as long as an authorized supplier and installer is used.
Stone coated tiles
Alternative but equally appealing roofing products exist in our product range. These stone coated roofing tiles are manufactured with aluminium zinc-alloy steel coated with natural Italian ceramic granules enhancing their durability and style
The tiles are made of several layers of fine materials, pressed into different profiles and sealed with exclusive polymer coating. The ceramic coated Italian chips resist fading and UV penetration. They are environmentally friendly and water can be harvested for domestic use.
One tile measures 420mm x 1,340mm and covers an area of 370mmx1,265mm including overlaps. 2.13 tiles cover one square metre.

How are they installed?
These stone coated tiles are secured on battens using steel serrated nails. A touch up paint is used for spotting nail heads and coating cut edges of tiles and accessories
There are angle ridge caps depending on the design of the roof. Side wall flashings are used on the flashings.
Installers use barge board covers to conceal the fascia board and also to provide aesthetic appeal.
